Trevor's Karate career started in February 1973 studying under Sensei Enoeda at Marshall Street Dojo, London and he graded through to 4th Kyu by August 1974, when service with the military took him away for 7 years. In 1981 Trevor was posted to London and returned to Marshall Street and continued studying under Sensei Enoeda until 1983 re-grading and grading through to 3rd Kyu. A change of career saw Trevor stop club training until 1996 when he started training under Sensei Glen Hall 6th Dan in Bournemouth, where he gained his 1st Dan by July 2001. Trevor then moved back to training under the JKA association with Sensei Glyn Morgan 5th Dan at the Wareham club, cross grading at 1st Dan in March 2003 and gaining his 2nd and 3rd Dans in 2005 and 2009. Trevor is a club coach for Wareham SKC.
